  • In this part of lesson three, we will Continue to learn Arabic demonstrative article. It's an important topic in our free Arabic language course.
  • The Arabic sentence above means "The Moon and The Sun Letters". See section 7 (which should have already been covered) if you do not already understand the rules relating to the sun and the moon letters. Remember, this rule affects the pronunciation of the word and not the written form. Please listen carefully to the pronunciation. Pay attention to how in the Sun Letters اَلْحُرُوفُ الشَّمْسِيَّةُ, the /lām/ of /alif-lām/ is assimilated to the first letter in pronunciation.
