Lesson 7 – الدَّرْسُ السَّابِعُ

• Let's Continue to learn Arabic through our free Arabic language course. This Arabic course contain Arabic grammar, Arabic syntax, Arabic morphology and more.
• In this part of Lesson No. 7 we will learn another Arabic pronoun تِلْكَ (which means “that”) – Tilka is used for the Arabic feminine nouns.  Tilka follows the same principles as followed by Dhālika and is used to refer to objects that are further away whereas hādhihi (“this” in feminine form) is used to refer to objects that are closer. 
• The demonstrative pronouns are called أَسْمَاءُ الإِشَارَةِ in Arabic language and have two types:
• The pronouns which refer to the near objects like هَـٰذَا and هَـٰذِهِ meaning (this for masculine and feminine respectively) are called أَسْمَاءُ الإِشَارَةِ الْقَرِيبَةِ and
• The pronouns which refer to the distant objects like ذَلِكَ and تِلْكَ meaning (that for masculine and feminine respectively) are called أَسْمَاءُ الإِشَارَةِ الْبَعِيدَةِ.
