We remind you that the Arabic grammar doesn't call it demonstrative pronoun, it rather call it Arabic demonstrative nouns or Arabic demonstrative articles.

This is sugar and that is milk.

مَا هَـٰذَا وَمَا ذَلِكَ؟

Read and Write اِقْرَأْ وَاكْتُبْ:

مَنْ ذَلِكَ؟

 ذَلِكَ إِمَامٌ.

هَـٰذَا سُكَّرٌ وَذَلِكَ لَبَنٌ.

مَا هَـٰذَا؟

 هَـٰذَا حَجَرٌ.

أَذَلِكَ قِطٌّ؟

 لا،ذَلِكَ كَلْبٌ.
