Transitive verbs over two objects/đhanna/ and its sisters - الأفعال التي تَنْصِب مَفْعُولَيْنِ "ظَــنَّ، وَأَخَوَاتُـها"

Introduction - مُقَدِّمَةٌ

  • This is lesson sixty three of our free Arabic language course. This Arabic course with images and audios will help you learn Arabic.
  • In this lesson we will learn a new type of the Arabic verbs, known as /đhanna/ and its sisters (ظَـنَّ وَأَخَواتُها) In-Sha'a-Allah. 
  • We will also learn their characteristics. This type of verb is divided into two categories:
    (1) Verbs of Affectivity (
    أفْعال القُلُوب /afξāl al-qulūb/), such as عَلِمَ (to know) and ظَنَّ (to think, believe, suppose):
