Remember, this rule affects the pronunciation of the word and not the written form. Please listen carefully to the pronunciation. Pay attention to how in the Sun Letters اَلْحُرُوفُ الشَّمْسِيَّةُ, the /lām/ of /alif-lām/ is assimilated to the first letter in pronunciation.
