Genitive attached pronoun - ضَّمير الجَّرَّ المُتَّصِل

- This lesson is the fourth part of a group of lessons studying the Arabic pronouns. We studied earlier in the previous lessons the Arabic detached pronoun (الضَّمير المُنْفَصِل /ađ-đamīr al munfaŝil/) (nominative and accusative and there is no genitive detached pronoun), then we studied the Arabic attached pronoun (الضَّمير المُتَّصِل /ađ-đamīr al muttaŝil) (nominative and accusative), and now in this lesson we will learn, In Shā’a Allāh , the genitive attached pronouns (ضَّمير الجَّرَّ المُتَّصِل / đamīr al-ĵarr al muttaŝil) In-Shā'-Allâh (God willing).
- The genitive pronoun is the pronoun which occupies the position of genitive noun, i.e. it is the attached pronoun which falls in one of the two following positions:
- Annexed noun (مُضاف إلَيهِ /muđāfun ilayhi).
- After a preposition.
