ذلِكَ - '...That is'

 

  • In Part 1 of Lesson 2 we learn the pronoun ذلِكَ which means 'That' (called a demonstrative pronoun in grammar).  Dhalika is used to refer to objects that are farther away whereas haadhaa is used to refer to objects that are closer.
