(٦) ΗαϊΟσΡΣυ ΗαϊΣσΗΟφΣυ - Lesson 6

Lesson 6 - εσάٰΠφεφφ - 'This is..'

  • In this part of the lesson we learn how to use the pronoun εσάٰΠφεφφ which means "This for feminine". Hadhihi is pronounced εσΗΠφεφ but is written without the first Alif. The word following Hadhihi is the noun (object) being referred to and it should be a feminine word. e.g. ΘφδϊΚρ means a girl.

  • When a noun whether definite or indefinite is preceded by the demonstrative pronoun εσάٰΠφεφφ it takes the nominative case which is represented by a single dhamma in case of definite noun and by a double dhammas in case of an indefinite noun.

This is a lady doctor

εσάٰΠφεφ ΨσΘφνϊΘσΙρ

This is fruit.

εσάٰΠφεφ έσΗίφεσΙρ

This is a Car.

εσάٰΠφεφ ΣσνψσΗΡσΙρ

εσάٰΠφεφ ΘφδϊΚρ

We will also learn differentiating between the two words εάٰΠσΗ  and εάٰΠφφε φ with examples:

 εٰάΠΗ ΗΘϊδυ ΝσΗγφΟς

 ζσεٰάΠφεφ ΘφδϊΚυ νσΗΣφΡς

and this is the daughter of Yasir

 ΗφΘϊδυ ΝσΗγφΟς ΜσΗαφΣρ

 Hamid's son is sitting

and Yasir's daughter is standing

 ΣσνψσΗΡσΙυ γσδϊ εٰάΠφεφΏ

 Whose car is this?

 εٰάΠφεφ ΣσνψσΗΡσΙυ ΗαϊγυΟφνϊΡφ
